Womans dress buckle?

I found this a few inches deep with my whites xl pro on a bull dozed lot in mason ohio near an old well.The house that once stood there burned down and was on the historical societys register list.I suspect it to be old any help id would be appreciated .Thanks.

I would have to say yes a womans buckle the style looks like late 1800's but it is in great shape for a dug buckle. How did you clean it ? trk5capt...

It is possible the buckle was located under the house.I only cleaned it with soap and water and light duty steel wool.I also found this old spoon near the buckle.It says shefield plate on the back.
