I found this cleaning out a house today rather then trashing it I kept it anyone have any ideas........or what that tag on the bottom says.......it has a nice little carved fish in it

It's from Haiti, and was made recently. Looks wonderful though. Get some candy it that nice little bowl and enjoy it!

Haiti is right. We brought some stuff just like that home with us in the 70's.
We were told to keep an eye out for sawdust showing up underneath it, if so,
we bought a piece with termites.
