Found this piece in my travels. It’s double sided and in pretty amazing shape (at least on this side) and idea how old it might be? Thanks for looking and HH. It's on MDO plywood and from the style, I'd say it was lettered in the 70s or 80s. Don't see many hand lettered signs any more. I could sling a brush back in the day, but eventually got on the computer train. With the eyes failing, it helps to be able to zoom in when editing letters. Nice score there.

Thanks! Yeah judging by the wood and the condition I figured it wasn’t too old but I love the look of it and like you said I never see hand painted signs anymore.

Nice looking sign. Congrats

Very nice find, signs are highly collectible! :occasion14:

I agree with Sandchip according to the type of plywood used. Its a great find though. Any sign that's been hand painted is a rare find today.

Hand painted is of course what adds to the value but materials are real important. The old baked enameled tin signs are worth a bundle.
Congrats on your find.

I agree it’s disappointing that it’s on plywood but I still love the cut and colors and based on the rust on the chains and the other side (not pictured but more warn than this side) I imagine it hung outside for quite some time.
