Woodland point

This is a Woodland point that has been labeled by a few people as being a "Red Ochre" point. It is made out of KY Hornstone. I found this one many years ago when I was about 13. A cow had ran out into my Grandfather's corn field. The corn was about a foot tall. The cow was trampling everything so I ran out barefoot into the field to get her herded back into her grazing field. As I was running out to head her off, I stepped on something that cut the bottom of my foot. I stopped to see what had stabbed my foot to find this point sticking up out of the ground. My foot didn't seem to hurt very much after finding that point! My Grandfather had to remind me to get the cow out of the field.
