Woods hunt yealds a silver ring and a navy button

Went out today and tried my luck along the river at a spot I have never hunted before hoping to find some silver coins. I dug every single coin target I came across looking for silver but instead I found lots of clad again. I did manage to find a plain 925 Mexico ring and what looks to be a Navy button with a "C" on the eagles chest, the back is all rusted over so I cant see anything on it. I don't know if it's a real Navy button or if it's like a Navy Cadet button or if its just a fantasy suit button, any ideas if it's real or when its from? Great finds Kermit. I wish I would have stayed out longer, but my frail body hasn't quite reached season readiness yet. When I was on the phone with you, a FP cop pulled up aside me and was watching me until I got off the phone, lol. Only to ask what my "contraption" was. Like he didn't know Then he drove off. Glad he wasn't all like that other guy we ran into. I think he was just concerned about all the that goes on around there...

I walked by (3) of them in the woods on a trail while hiking back to the car today. Kind of creepy the way they were gazing....

Hey bud, there are 3 cannon balls underneath the anchor but the general consensus is that its a fantasy button from a blazer or something. The weird thing is the place that I found it at, nobody would of ever of had a reason to wear nice clothes to.

Nice finds!! I was out all day, and boy am I sore...we gotta hunt sometime again!! That ring is cool. I can't wait until I find my first piece of silver or gold jewelry. It must be quite a rush!!
