Very cool,the swastika was a symbol for good luck. That is why Hitler used it for his symbol for the Nazi party. Not to lucky for him. ;)
 

Cool token. Hitler used the broken cross for it's archaic symbolysm, recommended by his occult-obsessed minister, Himler. If it was a good luck symbol, things didn't work out too well....
 

yep before hitler used it ti was used as a good luck symbol.You find it on quite a few tokens like this.
I have an excelsior shoe token with it on the back.
COOL FIND!!Did you get a count of how many were actually found?
 

box of the coins -the ones in middle of stacks were in better shape then ones on the out side-
 

Even the Boy Scouts and the National Savings Bank used the Swastika as a Good Luck symbol (It goes back several 1000 years), but most tokens etc, as well as general use, was abandoned in the 1930´s due to Hitlers use of it. You also have left and right facing swastika´s.
