Working near fences

I'm using a Tesoro Silver Sabre Umax, and I'm having problems around fences (metal). I've been finding coins around a few fencelines the my father in law put up, but I've been getting a lot of interference from the metal fence and posts, a lot of false digs and signals. Any tips? Thanks! Jim

all i could say would be to lower your sensativity and scan slowly.

Try using a small coil and adjust sensitivity as needed to get closer and perhaps increase discrimination if looking for copper and silver coins. HH Bill
