Yea I Agree ! Rotted Tin Can Cause all kinds Of Nulls , Break-ups
& general Ground Balance Issues that will Chase 99% of detectorists to another Area to Hunt ! I Know I have moved on Occasion because of Mass Rotted tin Bits .

Once it was a Tobacco Tin ! After digging a Broken Signal, I Dug A Half a Couple Pennies

and Bits of Tin, I Stood up & Got a Null so I left happy, next trip I hit the same spot and found this

Was definitely a Cache in a Tobacco Tin.
No idea if it was an Intentionally Buried Cache
Or Lost Pocket Cache that Rotted with Age

it's also Easy To Knock out Gold Coins & Tin By Avoiding Aluminum.
