I want to show u some videos of our excavations WW2 in Ukraine.

I'm part Ukrainian. Beautiful saves. That paratroop helmet is worth some bucks, even dug.

IMO, the belt buckle is a great example of irony. GOTT MUS ANS means 'God with us'.
The back of the buckle should have numbers (37, for example designating the year) and other ID marks
Excellent finds
Don..

Awesome finds. Please share any more you come across. Thank you.

On the NCO's belt buckle......the 'RS and S' designates the maker (Richard Sieper U. Söhne)--and if you want a good site to ID similar items, I suggest this one:
The Collector's Guild

I get the spirit that your saying that, but really it would have been more fortunate for their country if there were no traces of war. On another note. I was recently invited to go to the Ukraine this fall. My friend said that the village he grew up in, him and his friends would go treasure hunting as kids. No detectors, only shovels. They would pick a spot and start digging. They would find helmets machine guns and bones. First and Second World War relics. Been researching the country. It's going to be interesting.
