Had the opportunity to hunt a homestead that has had 5 generations of the same family on it. I found a whole slew of wheats, two Merc’s and a 56 Rosie. The crown Jewel was this world war participation medal.

I returned the find to the oldest member of the family and asked the typical questions. He was perplexed needless to say. The ol’timer could only guess that it belonged to his grandfather, he could remember a few short stories. I was happy to return this over to the rightful owner in hopes the history will be passed on to future generations.

Not all the finds were included.

Thanks for looking.

Nice coin and relic finds! :occasion14: Giving that WW I artifact back to the family was a nice touch! :icon_thumleft:

That is one very nice find. Kudos to you for returning it to a family member. Honorable mention from me.

Giving the medal back was the only option in my book. Karma can be a *itch, lol.
