WORST DAY FOR AWHILE.............

Did the grand tour of the farms looking for some ground to cover. Couldn't really find much land & the edges of the field we did only produced:

50 cal
1799 Penny
1912 Halfpenny
New 1 pence
13th century broken buckle (would have been a nice rare type!)

On the way back to the car we decided to try the wood. I dug some rubbish next to some broken pot. Dug it up & took it home. See the before & after.

that looks like it was a nice slip glazed crock i'll take a 1799 coin anyday. sounds like you might be getting alittle jaded after finding all those hammered and roman coins lol good luck and hh
