So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). It's made from some sort of hornstone, which is fairly common in KY. I have similar hornstone from Lyon Co. It looks like Adena style to me. Gary
 

Turkeytail with the tip of the base busted off imo.

Nice material!
 

I would classify it as a Terminal Archaic Stemmed type, or the precursor to the Adena types. These have several names depending on the region where found.
