Would there be a way to do this with the sovereign???

Havn't bought my sovereign yet but curious if this could easily be done without any splicing/rigging. I want to hip mount it, but I would like to attach the sunray probe to the control box in the hipmount area (doesnt have to be physically attached, just in the same pouch). Also, could the TID meter also be located with the hip mount too? I would like to have as little as possible on the actual detector.

You would have to custom make the pouch or buy a big pouch, but I don't see what you can't do it. Do you still want the probe on your shaft and just the controls in the hip bag or do you just want to use the probe as a hand unit?

I have the meter, but I never take it to the beach due to the salt warter spray, the meter for me is strictly for land hunting.
