Good eyeball find! Not many would take a second look if most of it was covered by dirt!

could be a lamoka, most likely a knife blade though.

I am new to Indian artifacts, what is a Lamoka?

My book says its called an orient fishtail. 1000-1500 BC Value $10- $35 My book is 2002 edition so value may be higher now. Nice Find!

Lamoka would be the type of point, I wouldnt call it an orient, orients are more finely made and thinner. I dont know if the overstreet books are still produced but those do gove a pretty good description of what to look for when typing points.

Thanks. I'll have to try to find a overstreet book and look it up. Thanks again.
