I have a deus with an 11 inch coil, an hf elliptical coil and the ws5 headphones. Everything seems to be charging fine except the headphones. The battery symbol keeps ticking from bottom to top as if it is drained. I am not sure how long it will last. So my questions are, are any of the coil batteries comparable with the head phone battery? Is it something I can do myself, where can I source a battery if I can, or does it need to be sent out. Thanks

I don't know, but I saw there is a new XP Deus Update version 5.21 to deal with draining headphone battery. if that's not it, might have to check with the service center metaldetector.com

The manual says easy to change but still need to find the right battery.

What Signal Line said about the update might be the problem.
I know my WS4s would drain flat and take for ever to charge back up.
You can replace the battery yourself or
Are the WS5's still under warrenty?
If they are send them in.

Reload V5.2.1 onto your headphones and leave on charge for 2 hours.

I called and was told my unit is still under warrenty, we agreed that we should first try to reload my program and am happy to say I think the problem is solved, the battery meter is now showing its level. I had it on the charger all day with no meter reading yesterday. Thanks for the replies,

Good news. I have the WS4 and have had no problems with it whatsoever.
