WW 2 USN Pilots Amico Wings

When I got out sat I put my coil to the ground and moved it about 1 foot and got a sweet signal, dug these amico wings. Usually when I get a goodie after 30 seconds of detecting the rest of the hunt is a skunk out and this is what happened. Darn, but I love the wings. Any experts on silver marks out there? I was wondering if this is an early amico mark, pre WW 2. If so then these are a bit more scarce. Cant find anything on date ranges for amico marks.

That's an excellent find A gold filled sterling naval aviators badge. For me only sub badge can be better than this one. A silver or gold military badge is still in my wishlist.
