You really know what to do with spare time...and where to find this dumps... Very nice! Did You know from what the cap is? From a statue used as a flask?
 

Yes,it's from a funny styled figurine soldier flask.
I know such flasks also styled as a clown.A black bowler cap taken for stopper,then.
