Very cool indeed! Sure the wing nuts that were on that ammo crate changed history for a few families....
 

Good places to search if you can find good pockets of bullet casings. Cleared a base for awhile with at least a half bucket or more. Found silver coins silver awards big gold rings even a small gold coin in one of the rings, was worth it.
 

I like the wing nuts. Cleaned up and reused for something around the house, bike or truck could be a an idea for a second life....:icon_thumleft:
 

Interesting. I metal detect WWI sites in the S.W. and found the wing nuts in the same area as hand grenade parts and always thought the wing nut was part of the grenade. Thanks for the info.
