Went out with my dad today to a old home place near the house and found this button the doesn't have a back to it... I have done some looking online and I think it's a WWII ear button but I couldn't find one that didn't have a back to it like mine.... Can anyone give me any info on it? Also found a 100 year old wheat penny but it's green in color any idea how to clean it? Thanks guys and God Bless...

1902-present, could be any war in between. I found one a couple weeks ago. Congrats!

good finds!!

That penny is beautiful. You couldn't ask for a better patina!

Is that a mint mark? D or S? don't clean it.

It's a D... I washed it under water and the green started showing.... I never dug a wheat with green on it so ya'll think I should leave it like it is?

No reason to clean that one. Looks great as is. I wish all my pennies looked that nice.

They are supposed to be green! That coin is beautiful!
