Thanks to my brother I hit a new yard today. Only had about an hour to hunt and manged to get a couple keepers to make me want to go back. I have been on a dry spell since the beginning of the year. I hope this spot is the start of some more exciting hunts. Found an old coin first signal. I can make out 10 and a reath but not sure what it is , it is the size of a quarter. The next signal was about four steps away and showed up as a nickel. About 3 inches down came out this nice C&O button in really good shape. I dug a couple peices of junk then a nice green wheatie 1934. Then i had a nice solid signal that I thought was gonna be another wheatie and out popped this nice eagle. The back is missing but was a nice dig considering the year I am having. I looked for the back but couldnt find it. Not bad for a short hunt. Hope this is the start of a long drought ending. Thanks for looking

I forgot I had found this tag. Thought it was a dog tag and left it in my pouch. It turns out this fellow was a mason. I have a deep respect for masons and will be turning this tag over to my local chapter. It read that if found that all addemities be paid in case of accident or sickness and states the members number.

Yeah jimmy it was nice to get a few goodies. The property is nice and big. Hope we get some good weather this week to get back up there.

That coin kinda looks like one of those Colombia 10 centavos coins.

To me it kinda looks like this.

I have it soaking in evo right now . It is starting to show some detail. I found a new zealand coin that looks similar as well. One side is real crusty so I think I will let it soak for a while. It read as a penny signal. Kinda different with the few other things I found in this yard today. I will let ya know if I get anymore detail out of it. I am guessing it is an older coin due to the crust and judging from the other finds and depth it was found.I dont think it is anything to special but a good find for a hillside yard in WV.
