X-terra 705 HELP

This should make Sandman"s day. I got a new 705 been out a few times only to find some trash,still learning how to set it up. Yesterday I put a coin garden in 5-8" deep the Minelab was real erratic on the coins. Broke out the old Bounty hunter 505 picked out the coins with no problem, what's up with that ?

Sounds like you don't have it set up right yet Jim. If you want help, a little more info about what exactly you're doing would be useful.
Did you Noise Cancel?
Did you GB over clean ground?
GB Tracking on?
ID Stabilization on?
Where is the Threshold set?
Where is the SENS set?
Which coil did/do you have on?
What MODE were you in?

Properly set, the 705 will blow your BH505 away.

I just got a new X-Terra 705 from Bart at Big Boys Hobbies (great service by the way) and I have found more coins then ever before. I am extremely happy with mine. I think it just takes the proper setup and a little practice.

I got mine figured out really like it But after only a few weeks of use the coil broke off at the mounting bolts Minelab said its a common thing working on fix for the problem Keep an eye on it

The 705 will perform don't even think about it. Also, those coins you buried...Try them in a couple of years see if the 705 picks them up then. Bet it will.
