X5 mods

HMMM,was thinking of some tech mods for my X5 (troy) say a meter device/id meter? plug it in the head phone jack,and still use the phones.not an issue just want the most out of my hunts the zinc/nickle toggle will cancel some good coins, as i hunt some older trashy areas.would like to retain the integrity without messing up warranty.or any tips or tricks would be cool! thank
