hello everyone,
im not sure if this belongs in this forum, but ill ask anyways.
i just purchased a spectrum xlt e-series, and i noticed the coil on it wasnt what was pictured. it looks like the coil from the matrix m6.
are all the new spectrum xlt e-series equiped with this coil?

i use to use a older xlt the rainbow decal one, but had to sell.
im pretty familliar with the use of this detector, just using the preset programs that come with it. i was wanting to know, evertime i change a setting on it. do i re ground balance it ?
like turning ac sensitivity up then re ground balance
turning dc sensitivity up then re ground balance
preamp gain then re ground balance
or could i do all my adjustments then reground balance after im done.
ive seen some post about re ground balancing after every setting you make to it, thats where im confussed.
any response is appreciated.

I alway thought it wise to ground balance periodically during my search as the soil conditions change.
I also have an older XLT so to reground balance is easy. Happy Hunting. Dan

a qucik phone call to whites answered my coil question.
all new spectrum xlt e-series comes with the matrix m6 coil

Just re ground balance after you are finished with your changes. The XLT tracks the ground and balances and makes adjustments as you search so it will balance its self even if you do not balance it. Those new whites coils look like they are off a space ship.
