Xterra 50 10.5" DD coils, are they water proof?

I read recently somewhere that the DD coils for the xterra series are not water proof. Does anyone know if they are or not?

Hey Bigtim,
I have the 10.5" 7.5 khz coil and it is waterproof, but the 5"x 10" coil is only water resistant from what I understand.
