xterra 705 help!

i need to know the effects of the ground balance offset that the 705 has it says to put on the positive side? why and how positive do i go?can someone tell what this for and why how? what does it do? thanks

As you probably know by now, the gb offset is to allow you to add a couple numbers to the gb and still use tracking to keep your gb adjusted to the changing ground. By making your gb a little positive it helps with bad ground and can pull in those slightly deeper signals.
