Xterra 705 question

How do you guys think a 705 would do in the red clay of Virginia?

Just fine, I use mine in the red clay here in the Ozark Mountains all the time and I love it.

I'm not sure exactly what you are planning to hunt but CORS/NEL have some nice three-frequency coils out now too.
The 18.75 kHz gold pack coil is great but happens to be the ONLY coil I've ever seen that's not waterproof.
