Well I got up early today and hit a beach. I hunted for 5 hours today, It was the cleanest beach I have ever been on. Found 1 pull tab and 3 coins for a total of .16 and a cheap ring made in India.....Matt

But you didn't get skunked! Seriously, I have those days often. Sometimes all I find is junque. But everytime I get some junk out of the ground, I might find that seriously buried $5 gold underneath it this fall or winter.

I drove over to a lake in Indiana today. Last week I hunted in Indiana and Michigan and found over $53 in clad and 14 rings. I guess someone beaten me to this other lake. Mayber tomorrow will be better....Matt

I know this is just going to get me talked about. But here goes. I've NEVER found $53 in clad and 14 rings in one week. EVER. Nor am I likely to.

And I'm OK with that.

One of these days I'll post photos of my meteorite or gold coins. And I'm just as OK with that.
