Yard hunt duds, saved by wheats

I did a couple small yards yesterday, came up with allot of junk. In the middle of all that I found a 50 cal round in the back of this one yard. there was a WWII training area nearby (5 miles) I found the lead bullet jammed down inside the casing, the primer was fired, must of been a dud? It happens with bullets, just like fireworks, strange it was in a yard.


Found two wheats and a 1950 Canadian Cent, wheats were a 1944 and a 1942. The other wheat I found in a tear out down in Sea Isle City last night, had to jump out and look. Too bad I didn't have more time and the tear out was mostly mud, nice 1925 wheat. I might have to get muddy today, haaaaaaaaa.

You have a nice start for a "Brass box". You will be surprised at how it will add up, and the scrap value at the end of the season.
