Well I kept my rock tumbler busy for a few days. I had a very good year for finding clad and some trinkets and rings. I think I found about 12 rings this year and miscellaneous pieces of jewelry. My totals for the year were 1640 quarters ,1200 dimes,760 nickels,2750 pennies,13 presidential dollars,8 Susan B Antony dollars,13 Sac dollars, 3 Eisenhower dollars , 18 Kennedy halves. I also had 3 dollars in miscellaneous quarters and 85 cents in nickels.

I rolled everything I could and got 41 quarter rolls, 24 dimes,19 nickels, and 55 pennies. I decided to keep the dollar coins for my collection. With over $600 dollars worth of coins, I cashed out $595 . 50.

Considering the number of holes dug and the hours, I estimated I made about $2.00 an hour.. LoL. It’s not a lot but ,it’s a hobby that pays back a little. I get some exercise and fresh air for the benefits of this hobby.

I probably break about even considering the gas I used and battery replacement. I did, however; switch to rechargeable batteries so that should save some money for the future.

Until spring thaw , my hunting days are on hold. It’s been fun.

Later,

Steve T.

It may not sound like a lot by the hour, but it adds up. That's quite a haul!

Congrats on the monster sized season's haul !

That's a pretty great clad total for the year. Nicely done!

that's an impressive pile of clad. glad you get to make a little scratch and have fun doing it. wtg

I bring them to the bank that gave me the hardest time in the past, hundreds of dollars of NSF fees when I was at a low point in my life. Now they can have fun with the dirty coins until they cut me off.
