That's a very nice looking GW button. Ain't no big deal though, I found 4. Just kidding...

I would vote banner but you already have something up there. Congrats on a beautiful, rare button, and finding your holy grail.

Congrats!!! It's a great feeling when you find that thing that in reality you think you never will. Enjoy the ride!

Lightning struck four times when I found mine. Apparently the buttons were sold on paper cards, four to a card. It's thought they were worn one at a time, and when the button was lost it was replaced with another one.

thanks for that info Steve i had no idea about that ...

Got my banner vote
good luck today, I hope you find those other ones!

HI JD; CONGRATULATIONS. I vote BANNER. It does not matter if you have anything else already up there ok. Put your detector in AL METAL and dig EVERYTHING. Good Luck. Check into getting it cleaned and Preserved. PLEASE do NOT try it yourself ok. You run the risk of destroying the button and any value it has ok. PEACE:RONB

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic. Congrats! Just goes to show you - don't ever throw stuff away until you know for certain what it is!

Great find!! I read that title and thought I was gonna croak! ...Oh, that's from all the frogs outside. :tongue3:

Could you post another pick - maybe of it in your hand?

like the kid in the candy store said-----"I WANT THAT" extremely awesome pocket filler

I wonder what's found more often: gold coins or GW buttons? I would say gold coins are more common IMHO.

That button is just awesome j.d. Of all the designs on that button, that is my favorite one of them all. The 13 linked states is just awesome.
