My wife picked this up yesterday at a local thrift store. It is a redware sculpture of a woman laying face down on the ground. Signed MAT 1969 on back. I am hoping that I can give up on my retirement plan {lottery} by selling this masterpiece. It is a little over 8 inches long. Any idea who MAT is and how many millions I should ask for this? Thanks

Nice find & you never know. One man's junk is another treasure. I'd keep my day job just in case.

Agreed. You never know. My thought would be if it was bronze possibly, red ware doubtful but I hope I am wrong

Look like a pretty nice piece.

Yes, you can now retire. I just did. (Really did.)

Better buy a lotto ticket just in case

Yes you can retire...you will just be broke thats all....then you will end up eating the piece.... because you will be starving....looks delicious

Who knows, if you are say 2 years old, it may be valuable enough when you are ready to retire?
