I got out for an hour or so yesterday - the calm before the storm. Have a few inches of snow on the ground now (ugh...). I haven't cleaned it yet and it has some dirt on it. Not sure of material.

It looks like volcanic rhyolite. They loved that material for their points. I got maybe 18' of snow here. I hate snow. Had to have it plowed twice.

Glad you found that point. Looks like our snow may be gone for the season.

Here is a page from a book I have on arrowheads in Virginia (Hranicky) on Brewertons and a picture of another point I found at the same site that may be the notched variety. Material seems to match the book description.

Any thoughts?
