Yesterdays Surface Hunt

Surface Hunt
Warm and sunny and I needed a quick fix so off to a small site that I've hunted off and on for thirty five or more years . When I say small its 2.02 acres about 87,991 sq ft it was covered in snow a week ago and the grass was flat and made me hunt real slow a couple of hours of back and forth on this little spot . Nothing for the A frame but enough to keep my interest and got me thinking about how many points and other artifacts that I have found there over the years . I have several frames full maybe a couple hundred or more all surface finds from the same little spot and I'm not the only person that hunts this spot . How many artifacts are hiding just below the surface ? anyway I'll let it rest for awhile so all you folks that have thousands of acres to hunt you will never find all of them .

Nice finds .... I have a spot similar to yours it was where I found my first point and was right across the street from my house. It may have been 3 acres but not much more between the brokes and wholes I have found well over 250 pieces. That's the only place I hunted for years so when I finally moved away I didn't realize how good I had it. I thought it was normal to go out for a few hours and come back with both pockets filled with keepers. Wish I knew what I had at the time but I was young and it was before the "interweb" days where you could find out so much

No but I have screened just up the road which is part of the same site but different owners and have thousands of artifacts from there . There's houses sitting all over this camp I do gardening for free lol .
