I see members on here finding those old lead toys and think they're a very cool find. My Reno hunting buddy found one up in the Sierra's last summer but I haven't even found a piece of one.
Well, the old dump gave up the goods again! I must have dug a couple hundred melty blobs of lead out there, but they give such a nice signal I can't resist digging them, good thing too!
The other noteworthy targets were a nice old sterling ring (with black onyx stone), a tiny compact, a Colorado tax token, a U.S. screw-back emblem, one wheat (date yet to be determined), a key, some buttons and other random stuff.
I included the little do-dad at the lower right because I keep finding them and have no idea what they are. It's domed on one side and cupped with a center hole on the other, and made of copper. Any ideas?
That dump has been a lot of fun, and as long as it keeps producing, I'll keep at it.
Thanks for the lookie!
