Yet another toasted IH, but at least it's a fatty!
Finally found my first fatty IH! It was 6 inches down and was a lousy signal. I guess the 88% copper/12% nickel composition throws off the detector. Good thing I dig all targets at this field.
It's pretty toasted, but I think it's an 1863. I've found some great old coppers at this field, but most are in really rough shape. Too much fertilizer, I guess. I'm happy, though. My 13th IH is my first fatty!
Here's a few pics, including one with an 1881 IH to show that this one is definitely a fatty.
