Yippe! My First Ring...

Decided today to head out and hit a playground at one of the nearby churches with the ACE 250. The third find was this nice little ring. Looks like a wedding band as it is a real narrow ring with some detailing on the outside edges. It does have some engravings on the inside: 10k and the initials RMI. I think I will do up a little flyer and take it over to the church and see if I can the rightful owner. The playground was surrounded by wood mulch so the digging was pretty easy. The ACE showed it as a pulltab, and then a nickel, right inside the "gold/bronze" range. This is my first ring found with my ACE, I thought I was hooked on MD'ing before now I know I am..

You know Cynangyl is right....ya gotta do the "First Ring Happy Dance"...but she forgot to mention the rest of the TNET tradition..........you have to post a picture of you doing the dance. Right Cyn? Otherwise, if you don't do the dance and post a picture of it....bad luck follows...no more rings.

Nice find...........and I think it's a good gesture to attempt to find the owner. Helps the rest of us MDers with our reputations.....and, Lord knows, some of us need all of the help we can get....LOL Congrats!
