Here are a few of my finds from this weekend. You just never know! I am trying to picture this elephant attached to the front of a boat.... It has a place for two screws but actually had some adhesive tape. The Darth Vader was probably worn on a chain. Very heavy. The ring is stainless steel and was an eyeball find. HH

Sweet elephant, looks like a Hindu Ganesh?? Can't see it mounted on a boat however, but your guess is as good as mine.

Hopefully someone else will give an accurate ID on the object and its intended use.

Good Stuff

Woo! Perfect example that we never know what we'll find! Solemn Darth and fancy elephant! Andi

Looks like a neat "spinner ring"

Looks like the Dark Side gave itself to you!

It looks to be marine mounting hardware on that elephant :o But like you I have a hard time visualizing it mounted on a boat :icon_scratch: Nice find either way :headbang: MaineRelic

That Dark Vador gizmo is cool! Were you lake hunting in shallow water? just curious

Yes, but the Vader was found buried in the dry sand. Our lakes are really low, so it might have been lost in the water at some point.

Right-on!, great finds! Happy hunting.

You used the force!
But what setting?
Carl

Not sure if you mean the setting on the detector or the setting in which they were found. I was in the shallow water and sand along a lake. I think it was set to discriminate out 40 and down. I dug most everything unless I could tell for sure that it was total junk.

Star Wars/Bad attempt at humor.
I watch way too many movies.
