You know you have a "problem" when....

...you can hear the sound of a 90% Silver Quarter clinking in a cash drawer.

Yup, I have a "problem".

I work in retail and I opened up a new roll of quarters to put in my register drawer. Something sounded different. I looked through the coins and lo and behold, a 1964 Silver Quarter! I quickly swapped it out for a clad one I had in my pocket.

That brings my work total to 1 War Nickel, 4 Silver Dimes, and 2 Silver Quarters. I don't count these towards my 2012 CRH totals. I see these as "bonuses"!

Friendly reminder, tomorrow is MLK Day. The banks are closed. :sad1: My bank hopping expedition will have to wait 'till Tuesday...

HH!!

I used to love these holidays because I would get off from school. Now I hate them because my banks are closed on federal holidays :BangHead:. I'm also sitting on over $100 in cents waiting to be dumped. Going to have to wait till tomorrow I guess.... :dontknow:

Nice cash register score! Sometimes I'm jealous of those who work in retail. I wish I had known about silver coins back in the mid 80's when I worked a cash register. I'm sure they were slightly more plentiful back then. You seem to be doing really well (especially on the quarters).

Congrats!
