The rampant lion could be for other familys as well as the Wallace. I have seen many similar found all over the UK.

Thankyou all for your kind comments, we are hoping to add some more adventures and discoveries soon. Please view my other videos on you tube, holy island rally back in 1992 was fantastic. You have a great web site here I love to see your discoveries from the civil war period its amazing to see. The discovery team have an English civil war site of the 17th century. We hope to put the video together soon . We have found a number of nice items and its great history too.
