Young Beginner's Luck
I've recently started coin roll hunting and my 8-year-old daughter asked if she could hunt too. So today I sat her down with a tray and five rolls of pennies and showed her an example of what a wheat looks like.
After a few false alarms (Canadian cents), and a discussion on why we don't save the shiny "sheild" pennies, she found a wheat in her very first roll. That wheat was a 1919!
