Hi everyone, I posted this in the Welcome Page but probably more appropriate here.

Can you tell me if this might be tiny amounts on gold? I live in Wales, United Kingdom and I believe that Welsh gold is typically this colour, not as yellow.

Im afraid I am struggling to take a better photo.

Pic not that great but it doesn't look metalic to me. don't know anything about British geology but most places here in the States the quartz associated with gold is a milky white and not the clear matrix you show. It may be different there. Do some research in geology and the histor of gold in the UK.
