St. Croix

Hello all,

I am currently waiting for my Excaliber to arrive in a few days and am getting itchy just thinking about it. I am a SCUBA diver and purchased this MD pretty much to play around my local beaches (Lake Erie) and surf. I'm not looking to make money with it but just to have fun and anticipating what will I find next. My question is would it be OK to take my MD to St. Croix? I am planning a diving vacation there in October and would love take it with me to check out some beaches.

I wasn't involved in metal detecting when I lived there, but I don't see why not. Just stay clear of Buck's Island and the surrounding waters and the waters surrounding Fort Christiansted being that they are National Parks property. If you do hit the beaches be sure to hit Cane Bay.
