Treasure Hunting while inside a 'portable' Shark Cage in shallow water

Hello all,

Has anyone considered the crazy idea of treasure hunting while scuba diving while in an enclosed shark cage? I know there seem to be obvious problems, such as mobility and metal interference. But with the talk of sharks being more prevalent these days, I wonder if anyone has tried such a repellant method.

Not to second guess your experience, but more than likely you encountered a bonnethead shark. They are harmless to humans as their diet consists of mollusks and small bony fish. The scalloped hammerhead lives in deeper water (pelagic).

Agree with Diver Down but I had a four foot nurse shark nuzzle a bait bucket full of live mullet that I foolishly tide to my belt while I was wade fishing for snook in Marathon. I almost soiled myself.

When you see the Fin.. It's time to go in !!! 'Cause no one else is hunting in the water..

those are the best times to find all of the goodies.. :help:

Also, hunt with shorter. slower partners, that way shark will reach them first when your dashing to shore.

Monty, obviously you are a cat person. The dog weighs 185lbs. He prefers to be called unusual or unique. In my neighborhood, UPS, Fedex, and postman all have brown shorts. He doesn't appreciate strangers.

But thanks for noticing,

No, I am a dog person. My vicious dog is named "Digsy" and she digs up pennies I bury in my coin garden. But she is a ferocious killer dog weighing in at 15 lbs and she would attack your dog like a buzz saw, chewing his toes off in a matter of seconds...since that's probably all she could reach! The men in the gray suits are there to guard the treasure.

Soak a sponge with dish soap and tie it to your waist.
