I did my usual 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. tour of the beach and it was a beautiful day for it.
Started out like I did last Monday with a dime about 5 steps on to the beach. Then another dime about 5 steps from the first one.
After that, it was quiet for what seemed like forever. That changed once I reached some of the new sand they brought in for the renourishment. I started getting little pieces of chopped up aluminum and beaver tails. All of this at the water line. Fighting the waves to scoop old pull tabs and bits of aluminum got old after a while. Enough of that! I started working the dry sand. This is where most of my finds came from.
