Let me say this about 3 hours with the straight shaft.
if u have been using a straight shaft for sometime on other detector and u end up with a atpro and the stock S rod set up...........for me.......i did not like it, but if u were maybe a ace user or alike, u may find the stock S rod acceptable and not a big deal............
for me it was a big deal and i opted for the new straight shaft........F Y I...just my opinion
....REGARDLESS OF WHAT BRAND YOU DECIDE ON.........Y O U HAVE TO GET ONE..........it is just a great improvment for the Heavy AtPro.

ken and i sail in few hours before lowtide in search of yellow.
no yellow seen or heard of.......today……..heard of tungsten and big silver chain with cross.
david was in the lane, david #2 was in the lane, bob sharkhunter....heard big scoop rich was south along with dick and tony…......lowtide tim hit the bay - silver ticket for him.
good luck, we may go back this evening, if no, we will see u for surfchurch.
