Found a little silver and "terra" from Fatima today...and misc. items

Hi, :hello:

Got out for a bit last week and today.

Hunted the muddy flats, wet sand slope and dry sand. Many people were at the beach sunning and swimming...it was an unusually warm day for October.

Nothing extraordinary found, but it was nice to get out there.

Religious medallion and "Indian Head" penny were found in dry sand.

No stamping on medallion, but tested + with acid test kit.

Here 's pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

Nice finds L. I have a medallion very similar to that one. It has no markings either.

Nice little assortment there Lorraine.

I can't tell if that pendant is silver or not. I usually use a scratch stone and then put the acid on the stone. It shows up a lot better in my opinion.

It's always nice to find personal effects like what you've found... even if they are junk. Anyone can find money... rings and pendants are more elusive and special

Never found anything like that in the river and it amazes me that they are not completely eat up by the salt. Nice finds Lorrain!
