Wow: That's a lotta lotta coins:

Does coin star charge for this service, if you get a gift card verses cash back?
If they charge, is the rate fixed and how much, or does it vary from store to store.

Do you have to clean the coins before feeding them to the coin star beastie?
If so how much and what is the easiest way?

I am not familiar with the Excalibur X10; is it the one with the sword search coil.
Anyone out there know the Excalibur models and the dates they went in and out of production.

The coin star by in my town has a service charge but there are other options aswell. You can get a gift card to some local store(hopefully its local unlike mine, the only gift cards I can get are for places that I never go to or are not in my area. or you can donate it to charity.

To clean some people just soak the coins in dish water and others us tumblers. I guess it depends on the condition of the coin.

That is a lot of coins. Looks like a good chunk of change. Great job. The beaches that I go to are usually not that well stocked with coins.

Congrats on what looks like a decent dent in your grocery bill. The coinstar machine here rejects any dirty coins and half eaten zincolns. Roll em up and send em back. Congrats again, looks like a nice haul.
