I know you all get to keep your finds after reporting them or however it goes but does that still apply after the museum people have been there. Do they keep what they found or is it still your site or claim? Just curious.

Anything found in the dig & association with the hoard is still put forward as his find. Even if he reported 10 & they found 50,000, it would all be his/get the valuation.

Yes, its getting all the proper attention - Its a bit frustrating though as I want to get in there with my spade, especially over the remaining strong signals but they (the Museum Archeologists) request that I don't dig now and let them unearth things - I have to stand back while they use small trowels and brushes! Its going to take months!

Made certain of that before I took them on the land!

didn't really need to, its the Law. But keep a close eye on the diggers, anything significant, ask to picture. It shouldn't take months, unless they are out of practice
