Back at the bottle dump again with 2 of my MD buddies.
We started our day metal detecting but we all just found some wheaties so we decide to give the dump a try. Well we found a lot of stuff on the surface but L4S started to dig. I went walking around and when I came back they both found some marbles and 2 old "good for 5 cents" tokens. So I joined in the dig, man in one small spot by a big tree from 2inches deep to maybe a foot deep we found 8 or 10 mini milk bottles, 6-8 bottle stoppers (plugs), 2 pocket knifes, the tokens, marbles, some doll legs, a pair of scissors and a lot of other bottles. We want to go back and screen the dirt pile for more goodies.
These are my finds from out at the bottle dump again, sorry no video on this hunt guys...
Re: Back at the bottle dump again with 2 of my MD buddies.
I am pleased to see some bottles from "Chicagoland" . . . I grew up on the Southside, but left long before I got serious about bottles.
I do have one bottle that I dived up from an flooded quarry in Lamont. I used it as a pencil jar for a long time, but it's on my shelf now.
