    I know it's worthless but...it's my first bottle with a metal detector

    I found a Purex bottle,1/2 gal.,dark brown,with the "rustproof" cap still attached.I know it's not old or even has a value,but it's the first time I found a bottle cap with the bottle still attached. It was buried on it's side,luckily I used a long screwdriver as a probe before digging.It still has the price stamped on the cap.29 cents,NOT THE FIND OF THE CENTURY BUT IT WAS FUN!Here's a pic:

    Thats cool. My first worthwhile find was a cap with a bottle attached too. Not as big as yours though.

    Mifflin Chemical Corporation....sure as heck not gonna open it
